  10. Welcome! MR-InFocus is a Win32 program that performs the task of a Man Machine Interface (MMI) 
  11. for PLC's connected on a LAN via the Simatic/CTI 2572 or Modicon ethernet/tcpip adaptors.

  13. By Using MR-InFocus, you can quickly configure a high performance graphical representation of your
  14. plant showing process variables and status in real time.
  15.  
  16. This is a complete version of MR-InFocus. When there is no security dongle attached the program
  17. will run for one hour, you have complete functionality while it is running. If you find the program
  18. useful then contact Mainrobin Pty Ltd for a security dongle and you will be able to use the program
  19. without any time limit.

  24. MR-InFocus provides the following features:

  26. 1. A true Win32 multithreaded program running on Win95 or WinNT
  27. 2. Can run in single view or multiple view mode (SDI/MDI)
  28. 3. Integrated graphical editor allows configuration changes to be performed online
  29. 4. Integrated security manager controls access to editing and control functions.
  30. 5. Scaleable views allow you to resize a view window without the view being clipped.
  31. 6. Uses Windows metafiles for background images.
  32. 7. Owner drawn button styles allow you to optionally create your own metafiles for button controls.
  33. 8. Configurable tools menu allows you to start other programs from MR-InFocus.

  35. INSTALLATION NOTES

  38. Simply run the install program to copy all the files onto your PC. The install program
  39. will also create some registry entries in the registry. Icons will be created for you.
  40. You will be able to view the demo screens when you start MR-InFocus.

  55. MR-InFormant:

  57. MR-InFormant is a data collection and reporting system that can collect data from PLC's or 
  58. other devices. The data is stored in a relational database, it is then accessable via a web 
  59. browser or other database client tools. The application is a very powerful tool for deploying 
  60. real-time plant information on an Intranet or performing relational queries using real-time plant
  61. data and data from other applications such as accounting or maintenance programs.

  63. MR-InFormant runs as a Windows NT service, and uses the Windows NT Internet Information 
  64. Service (IIS) to deploy reports in HTML format over an Intranet or the Internet.

  66. Real-time and historical data can be viewed within the browser. Data can be accessed by Java and 
  67. ActiveX controls to provide realtime updates of your process data in a browser anywhere on your
  68. Intranet or the Internet.
